How does it work? A human being is a body electric: each heartbeat begins with a pulse of electricity. The circulatory system carries heart electricity to all parts of the body through the bloodstream, an excellent conductor due to the high salt content. This electricity can be measured anywhere on the body, including the extremities, by an electrocardiogram.

Basic physics tell us the movement of electricity by a conductor forms a magnetic field. The body's magnetic field can also be measured. In fact, the heart's measurable magnetic field extends both in front and in back of the body. A device called a SQUID (superconducting quantum interference device) can be used to measure magnetic fields of the body.

Physical disturbances in the body show up in the electro-magnetic field. So the question becomes, are the irregularities in the field a result of imbalances in the body, or are the imbalances in the body a result of the irregularities in the electro-magnetic field?

Energy therapy addresses the "energy body" of the client. Through the interaction of the therapist's magnetic field (as it emanates from her hands) and the field of the client, changes occur: energy blockages are cleared and proper flow is restored. The resulting physical changes can be anything from a deep sense of relaxation to accelerated self-healing and a complete return to health and wholeness.

How is this therapy applied? The client lies on a massage table fully clothed. The therapist places her hands in a series of positions on the client's body for 3-5 minutes each. The client will feel the therapist's hands become very warm as energy is channeled to the client. The sensation is quite relaxing at the very least. Clients with greater body awareness may actually feel waves of energy passing through them. Some people report seeing a display of colors on the inside of their eyelids. Each person's experience is different.

INTRODUCING MATRIX ENERGETICS

Matrix Energetics is the science and art of transformation at the
sub-atomic level through the use of focused intent.

What does this mean exactly? The human body is made up of tissues, which are made up of cells, which are made up of molecules, which are made up of atoms. Atoms are mostly empty space: a small bit of matter we call the nucleus with orbiting electrons. Current research in quantum physics has proven that the electron path is influenced by observation and intention. If the path of the electron is influenced, then so too is the human body it inhabits.

How is this therapy applied? The client can be standing, seated or lying on a massage table fully clothed. The therapist selects from of number of Matrix energy tools those that she feels are most appropriate for the client. Most commonly used is the "two-point", a method of connecting with the energy field of the client. The therapist places her hands on two areas on or off the body of the client. She instantly accesses a deep state of tranquility and sets a focused intent. As the forces of the universe step in, the therapist steps back, becomes the observer, and electron paths shift. Something always changes. It can happen in an instant or over a period of time. Something always changes.

What does the client experience? Again, the experience for each person varies. Sometimes there is immediate and complete pain relief. Sometimes the client merely wobbles a bit, then reports back a week later the changes that have occurred. Sometimes a physical ailment remains but the client's personal life climbs to new heights. What happens is always in accordance with the highest good of the client, and neither the client nor the therapist is qualified to determine what that might be!

Matrix Energetics sessions are $40 for a half hour or less, $60 per hour. If you prefer to start your one hour massage with a Matrix session of a half hour or less, an additional fee of $25 is charged. Clients frequently report a major difference in the way the body responds to massage when preceeded by a Matrix session.
