Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage

Massage is administered by the feet of the therapist to the client's body. Long, soothing strokes are designed to safely stretch the spine, release muscular tension and provide relief from chronic back pain. The client determines the amount of pressure used, from very light (using one foot only) to 100 pounds, the full weight of the therapist. Hands, feet, shoulders, neck, face and scalp are massaged by hand.
Cozumel is the only location in all of Mexico where you can receive this exceptional treatment by a U.S. certified massage therapist, personally certified by the founder of this modality.

Due to a hand injury, Swedish and Deep Tissue massages are no longer offered.

Note for Scuba Divers: On the day of your massage, please do not dive deeper than 120 feet. Allow 4 hours between diving and massage.

As we begin to understand more about the natural laws of the universe, many people are drawn to this very natural, very gentle energy therapy.

How is this therapy applied? The client lies on a massage table fully clothed. The therapist places her hands in a series of positions on the client's body for 3-5 minutes each. The client will feel the therapist's hands become very warm as energy begins to pass through them. The sensation is very relaxing. Clients with greater body awareness may actually feel waves of energy passing through them. Some people report seeing a display of colors on the inside of their eyelids. Each person's experience is different.
